Knee pads are a gardener’s friend when caring for plants low to the ground. If you spend a large portion of your gardening session on your knees, it could create pain over time. Investing in good knee pads will help cushion your knees so you are more comfortable.
Choose perennials that won’t be taken out by slugs. Snails and slugs can do irreparable damage to your garden in a single night. Certain perennials that don’t have tough leaves are especially tasty to snails and slugs. Some varieties of perennials are not preferred by snails and slugs, particularly perennials that have hairy, tough leaves or a taste that isn’t appetizing.
